Make your own Blackboard Art

An incredibly easy project to complete is that of making your own chalkboard. Put the kettle on, brew your tea and you're ready to begin. You will need;

A cork board or a plain plank of wood, masking tape, cheap blackboard paint and a fairly cheap paintbrush.

Mask off the edges or any areas you don't want covered, then begin to paint!

Blackboard paint goes on very easily and when caught in the light has a definite sheen, but will dry as a flat, dark matte in around thirty minutes. Ensure the room you're in is well ventilated and if you're prone to spilling put newspaper down before you begin, which I didn't do and which I regret and so do my poor socks, oops.

When fully dry add suitable witty comment and you're good to go!
